I co-own a company with five channels in streaming media and on connected TVs (Roku, Pluto, VIZIO, LG, etc.). My mission is to bring conscious media to the mainstream, and with over 80 million potential viewers now, I’ve come a long way. It all started in Seventh Grade when I almost got expelled for writing a thinly veiled expose of my classmates and teachers entitled: “Pappion At St. James Prison Camp.” My teacher became a mentor, and the storytelling bug was awakened in me forever. I began to see that I may be bullied and outcast, but I was also unique. I began to see I mattered. I carved out an entertainment degree from the ground up so that I could tell the world my stories and others like them. I went from a clerk at Warner Bros. to Head of Marketing at MGM Studios and STARZ movie channel, jumped ship to be an entertainment entrepreneur, and now I’m building my own studio of sorts. Some stories uplift us and bring us hope in the hard times and I mean to do my part to put those stories in front of as many people as possible. My truest passion and what I love to do without trying is write. My vision of the future is a bright one, and I want to spread it as far and wide as possible with my stories of everyday miracles and the perspective that everything is God's way of showing us how lovable we are...it's up to us to see things through His/Her eyes. I write. I’m a photographer. I speak English, Italian, a bit of Serbo-Croatian and know enough Spanish to get a stranger to smile. When I’m not in a high-powered Hollywood meeting or crafting novels, I’m hiking, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or making magic wands (the real kind). No stranger to the mystical arts, I’m also no stranger to Jesus or Buddha and somehow my philosophy makes sense in quantum physics. A student of life and evolver of self, I’m a bit complex and diverse in my interests, but then with four planets in Scorpio who wouldn’t be. I must have been a Samurai in another life because I revere flower arrangement, cooking, and poetry as much as Jiu Jitsu and making deals. I love people. Everyone. Truly. And if you’re one of the few people I don’t like, I’ll still treat you with dignity and curiosity because surely there’s something about you I can learn from. Maybe visa versa if you’re open to it. I’ve been a couple with my current wife almost 15 years and she shares my passion for growth and personal commitment to our motto “life is happening FOR me, not TO me.” Ours is a relationship based on truth and that can suck sometimes until it sets you free, but mostly we feel like newlyweds. I have two children from a past wife-time, Anastasia (27) and Alexander (19)…they’ve grown into amazing adults (despite my errors as a parent) and the years of estrangement and blame have blossomed into unconditional love beyond description in words. Their mom and I finally get along as well. I intend to build my book(s) into a platform for the audience that will love it globally when it’s published no later than next year. I have been fortunate to have created a personal relationship with a number of influential thought leaders in the personal development and wellness category and maybe I'll grow up and be considered one myself one day. My life was a "Surrender Experiment" before I ever read Micky Singer's book, I've aspired to be a "Peaceful Warrior" ever since I read Dan Millman's book and I have "Conversations with God" daily, even though I've only scanned through Neale Diamond Walsch's book. My wife tells me I’m kind, generous, considerate, personable, and don’t clean the floors very well, even though I have a lot of practice. But she likes my cooking and I like collaborating.
